Join our regional tax team based in Singapore and play a key role in supporting the business across Asia Pacific.
We are seeking a senior tax professional with strong technical expertise and the ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders across the region. In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic tax support and compliance oversight,
- Advise on the tax implications of commercial and financial decisions,
- Lead audits, disputes, and controversy management,
- Contribute to regional projects, including M&A, restructuring, and cross-border structuring.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day business tax support, advising operational and finance teams.
- Manage corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and indirect tax compliance for assigned jurisdictions.
- Lead tax controversy management: handle audits, disputes, and litigation, prepare responses to inquiries, and collaborate with external advisors.
- Support special projects such as M&A, restructuring, and cross-border structuring, delivering technical input and practical recommendations.
- Monitor regional tax regulation developments, assess impact, and provide timely guidance to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or Law; professional qualifications (CPA, ACA, ACCA) preferred.
- 6+ years of relevant tax experience, ideally a mix of in-house and professional services (Big 4 or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Singapore tax, with practical exposure across Asia Pacific jurisdictions.
- Proven expertise in tax compliance, business support, and controversy management; experience in Indonesia, the Philippines, or other emerging markets is a plus.
- Exposure to M&A and structuring preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident in dealing with tax authorities and senior stakeholders.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with the ability to balance technical rigor and commercial pragmatism.
