Job Overview We are looking for a proactive Senior/System Engineer to manage and support complex IT infrastructure and networks. You will be responsible for system reliability, implementing security hardening measures, and satisfying contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan,execute, monitor, and assist in the installation and ongoing support/maintenance of all hardware, software, and networks in project delivery.
- Conduct root cause analysis, diagnose, and rectify technical issues, implementing pro-active measures to prevent recurrence.
- Responsible for supporting operational systems and satisfying contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform and manage routine preventive maintenance and operational activities promptly and effectively.
- Responsible for hardening of OS, systems, and network equipment and managing Patch Management processes.
- Provide up-to-date project documentation and reports.
- Perform standby duties if required.
Requirements
- Experience in Windows server OS, Unix/Linux OS, and virtualization environments (VMware, HyperV etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
- Good Working knowledge in hardware like servers, storage area networks (SAN), and network-attached storage (NAS) devices.
- Good Knowledge of IT Infra services like Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Database, Web or App Server etc.
- Networking Advantage: Good working knowledge with VPN, firewall appliances, routers, and switches would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical ideas.
- Pro-active,dynamic, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
