SENIOR SYSTEM ANALYST/ SYSTEM ANALYST

You will be part of a highly committed team responsible for managing functional and technical aspects of IT systems for the School. Your role will encompass both functional and technical responsibilities, including on-going maintenance, upgrading and operation support of the business application systems, as well as identifying system and process improvements.

You will work with end-users and external vendors to enhance the systems and provide technical support. Additionally, you are expected to gather, prioritise and document business requirements and user guides, optimise business processes and proactively provide assistance and advice to end-users on the effective use of the IT systems.

You will also be required to produce and review technical documentation, including functional specifications, system design documents, technical and operational procedures, training guides etc.

Requirements

. At least 5 years of relevant experience in successfully delivering and supporting major IT systems as a system analyst

. Excellent skills in gathering, prioritisation and documenting requirements

. Experience in business process design and analysis

. Proficient in Microsoft .NET, SQL and SSRS reporting server, with good working experience in business intelligence tools such as Tableau for dashboard development and portal technologies

. Working knowledge of productivity and workflow tools including JotForm, MS Forms, SharePoint technologies, and Power Automate.

. Experience in the use or implementation of automation or AI tools to support reporting, analytics, or operational processes will be an advantage.

. Excellent technical experience with databases, web-development and end-user management

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and sound project and vendor management skills. Experience in evaluating vendor proposals and efforts is required.

. Highly motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities effectively

. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

. Experience in developing and implementing standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes and user processes

. Prior experience in mobile applications development and/or working experience in the education sector is an advantage
