Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing software for core derivative trading product management, specifically spot margin
- Create and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs and product documentation such as PRDs, user stories, use cases, user flows, logic flows, and functional specifications
- Priorities development activities with engineering teams, assist in determining the best technical implementation methods, work closely with QA on acceptance testing and lead product launches
- Conduct market research and competitor analyze is to develop and deliver best-in-class trading solutions and products
- Manage cross-functional and cross-department communication and coordination to ensure software product quality and progress, and completion of software product milestones
- Quick learner, can pick up new concepts quickly
- High degree of initiative to work collaboratively across the team and independently
- Familiarity with Agile workflow and ability to work within an Agile environment
Skills/Requirement
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a product manager coupled with a good understanding of software financial trading systems
- Sound knowledge on software financial products (especially on margin and futures product)
- Agile / Scrum Methodologies - working in Agile development environments
- Working with Engineering Teams - collaborating on technical implementation decisions
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Knowledge
- QA / User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - defining acceptance criteria and supporting testing
- Feature Delivery Coordination - driving milestones and execution across teams
