We're looking to add a Senior System Analyst, IT in Singapore. The position is based in our HQ at Ang Mo Kio.

As a Senior System Analyst, IT (MES), you will:

  • MES Operations & Support: Ensure stable and reliable operation of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), including incident troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and timely issue resolution. Proactively identify system improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions in consultation with business stakeholders.
  • System Implementation & Lifecycle Management: Lead or support MES system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring solutions meet manufacturing requirements, business objectives, and IT standards.
  • Requirements Analysis & Solution Design: Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements. Translate operational needs into clear functional and technical specifications for development and configuration.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Design comprehensive test strategies and test cases. Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality, reliability, and performance.
  • User Enablement & Support: Develop and deliver user training programs, documentation, and knowledge transfer materials. Provide ongoing application support to maximize system adoption and effective usage.
  • Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross‑functional IT teams, engineering, manufacturing, and external partners to deliver integrated, value‑added MES solutions across the organization.
  • Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Monitor MES performance and manufacturing processes. Identify optimization opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Modern Application Deployment: Work with development and infrastructure teams to support containerized MES applications using Containerised platforms (e.g., AWS EKS), ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure deployments.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Manage MES vendors and service providers, including performance evaluation, solution reviews, and alignment with contractual and operational expectations.
  • IT Audit, Compliance & Governance Support: Support IT audits and compliance activities by ensuring MES systems meet internal controls, security, and regulatory requirements. Provide documentation and evidence as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop‑floor integrations.
  • Strong working experience with various common Linux distributions (Oracle Linux, RHEL etc)
  • Proven experience working in cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Strong multitasking ability with demonstrated capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Node.js, React.js, and Databases such as Aurora SQL, PostgreSQL database design is a must.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and formal development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools: Kubernetes, Amazon EKS etc is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Production Planning/Capacity Planning/Material Management
  • Knowledge in Work Order Management
  • Knowledge in OEE/SPC/RTY
  • Knowledge in Quality management and traceability requirements
