Job Summary
You will conduct energy efficiency audits and manage energy improvement projects to optimize building performance and sustainability. Collaborate with clients to recommend and implement energy-saving measures and oversee green building certification processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site energy efficiency audits to identify Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) for HVAC systems, boilers, air compressors, and lighting to improve energy and water savings and reduce carbon emissions
- Analyze Building Management System (BMS) and Measurement & Verification (M&V) trending data to identify operational characteristics and potential energy-saving opportunities
- Recommend and support implementation of energy and water efficiency improvements based on data analysis to meet client and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and follow up on implemented measures to track building performance improvements
- Manage energy improvement projects including cooling system retrofits and retro-commissioning to ensure timely and effective delivery
- Perform onsite sensor verification and prepare BCA-OSE reports accurately and on schedule
- Lead and coordinate Green Building Certification projects such as Green Mark, LEED, and WELL to achieve certification goals
- Provide consultative feedback to clients using logical analysis aligned with industry best practices
- Support ad hoc activities such as pre-sale technical support and client engagement
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Building Services Engineering, Sustainability, or related disciplines
- Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) or equivalent certification (e.g., GMAP, GMAAP)
- Proven experience conducting Level-III energy audits or equivalent comprehensive energy assessments
- Field experience with HVAC systems including chillers, air handlers, power meters, and air compressors
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Energy Audit, Energy Management, and Green Building Certification
- Proficient in MS Office with data analytics skills to analyze and report energy data effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with Green Mark Certification for buildings and interiors
- Experience with LEED and WELL certification processes
- Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health practices and certification to ensure safe onsite audit operations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within teams and with clients
