Recruitment of China Classification Society Singapore Branch:

Position: Senior surveyor

Job responsibilities and job descriptions:

1. Engaged in the survey of newbuilding ships, survey and audit of operating ships and offshore units, audit and certificate of suppliers, and survey of marine and offshore products

2. Provide technical support and deal with technical problems encountered in branch inspection and audit activities

3. Provide technical support and technical training services to customers and actively solve practical technical problems for customers

4. Complete the training work according to the training plan and pass the examination

5. Timely and accurately issue various certificates, survey reports and file survey files.

Job requirements:

Education:

Bachelor degree or above in shipbuilding, maritime affairs and marine engineering major

Language requirements:

English shall be fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Because of the need to face a large number of Chinese customers and Chinese flag ships, Chinese shall also be fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

For non- English teaching undergraduates, English should have at least CET-4 and above qualification certificates or other equivalent English proficiency certificates. For English teaching undergraduates, O level Higher Chinese should be at least A2, Normal Chinese A1 or other equivalent Chinese proficiency certificates.

Work experience:

At least 10 years on-site inspection experience in IACS member classification societies

Qualification certificate:

At the same time, it has the qualifications of new shipbuilding survey, operating ship survey and audit, and marine product survey recognized by IACS member classification societies

Competency requirements:

It is necessary to master the requirements of IMO conventions, classification society rules, and various survey and audit requirements and procedures. The interview exam shall be passed

Good health and physical energy, able to get on and off the ship skilfully at the anchorage

Working hours:

Every Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00, it is necessary to work overtime frequently at night, on weekends and on public holidays.

Remuneration:

Salary: 7000-9000 SGD/ Month Car Allowance: 2000 SGD/ month

Without overtime pay, overtime work on public holidays can be granted another day off in lieu.
