Regional Supply Chain Operations
We are supporting a regional healthcare organization in identifying an experienced supply chain professional to join their Asia operations team.
This opportunity sits within a lean regional setup supporting supply chain execution, operational coordination, escalation management, and reporting activities across Asia markets. The role requires a hands-on individual who is comfortable managing ambiguity, driving operational follow-ups, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders across planning, manufacturing sites, commercial teams, and regional functions.
The successful candidate will play an important role in strengthening supply visibility, managing operational risks, improving reporting capabilities, and supporting regional supply continuity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Supply Operations & Escalation Management
- Coordinate regional supply chain activities and support operational continuity across Asia markets.
- Monitor supply-related risks including inventory shortages, delayed shipments, allocation constraints, and service disruptions.
- Work closely with planning teams, manufacturing sites, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and local supply chain teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Facilitate issue resolution discussions and ensure timely follow-up on critical supply actions.
- Support prioritization and allocation activities during constrained supply situations.
- Assess operational impact of supply disruptions and communicate updates clearly to regional stakeholders.
- Participate in regular operational review meetings and support escalation governance processes.
Reporting, Analytics & Operational Visibility
- Support regional KPI tracking, supply chain reporting, and operational performance monitoring.
- Prepare inventory, service level, and out-of-stock analysis to support business decision-making.
- Consolidate and analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting templates, and analytical tools using Power BI, Excel, or related platforms.
- Assist in preparing management updates and operational performance presentations for leadership discussions.
Process Improvement & Projects
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, reporting efficiency, and workflow effectiveness.
- Support initiatives related to reporting automation, dashboard enhancement, and process standardization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at strengthening operational responsiveness and supply visibility.
- Develop process documentation, SOPs, and training materials where required.
- Support regional transformation initiatives and evolving business requirements across the supply chain organization.
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Approximately 6–8 years of experience in supply chain operations, planning, regional coordination, or supply chain analytics.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes including planning, inventory management, supply risk management, and operational execution.
- Experience handling regional operational issues, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting, data interpretation, and dashboard management.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Excel, Power Query, or equivalent analytical/reporting tools.
- Familiarity with ERP and planning systems such as SAP, Kinaxis, or related platforms.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across regional markets.
- Prior exposure within healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical devices, life sciences, or regulated industries will be advantageous.
- Candidates from logistics or supply chain organizations supporting healthcare-related customers may also be considered.
