Primary Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison between Operations and suppliers for purchasing-related quality matters.
- Resolve supplier quality issues and review Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Lead supplier audits, evaluate performance and capabilities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure purchased parts are approved and ready for production.
- Ensure supplier production capacity aligns with divisional requirements.
- Support global counterparts with internal processes, manufacturing lines, testing, documentation, and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Quality or related Engineering/Science field.
- 5-8 years of experience in engineering, preferably in supplier quality or manufacturing.
- Certified Internal Auditor for IATF16949/ISO9001 is preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
- Experience with medium-complexity parts and suppliers with average quality systems familiarity with semiconductor, PCB, and PCBA processes is a plus.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Lead and support PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP and NPI
