JOB TITLE: Senior Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager / Productions Manager
JOB PURPOSE
To supervise site operations, coordinate precast element deliveries, oversee precast mould repair activities, manage manpower deployment, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Site Supervision
- Supervise daily site activities involving the installation, handling, and coordination of precast concrete elements.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor work progress and ensure project schedules are achieved.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve operational issues promptly.
Precast Mould Repair &Maintenance
- Oversee the repair, refurbishment, and maintenance of precast moulds to ensure operational readiness.
- Monitor mould conditions and coordinate repair schedules to minimize production disruptions.
- Ensure repair works meet quality and dimensional requirements.
- Maintain records of mould repairs and replacement requirements.
Logistics &Coordination
- Coordinate delivery schedules between Malaysia production plants, transport providers, and project sites in Singapore.
- Monitor inventory and movement of precast components, moulds, and related materials.
- Ensure timely delivery and proper handling of precast products.
- Liaise with transport contractors and site personnel to resolve delivery issues.
Manpower Management
- Lead and supervise site supervisors, workers, and subcontractors.
- Plan manpower deployment according to project and operational requirements.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, discipline, and performance of workers.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and provide on-site guidance and training.
Safety & Quality Compliance
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and project requirements.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards.
- Participate in safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and site progress reports.
- Report project issues, delays, manpower concerns, and logistics challenges to management.
- Maintain proper documentation of site activities, deliveries, and repair works.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Building, Construction, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5-8 years of supervisory experience in the precast concrete, construction, or building industry.
- Hands-on experience in site supervision, precast installation, mould repair coordination, logistics planning, and manpower management.
- Good understanding of precast products, construction site operations, and project coordination.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Singapore workplace safety regulations and site practices.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to travel between project sites and Malaysia production plants when required.
