Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs based on project requirements, from conceptual to schematic and detailed designs
• Carry out structural design analysis and calculations
• Participate in the tendering processes and monitors the work of contractors and subcontractors
• Maintain overall records of incoming and outgoing documents, drawing registers, RFI and shop drawings to ISO standard compliance
• Assist Project Director/Manager to resolve/review design, specifications, calculations, and other submittals, ensure the designs and models developed are in accordance to project requirements and attend to site queries/ issues
• Review and approve contractor's shop drawings and material submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent
• 8 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
• Positive attitude & meticulous, has an eye for detail
• Good communication & inter-personal skills, team-player
• Fast learner & ability to multi-task & work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Words, Powerpoint.
