Brief Summary
We seek a talented individual to lead the design and execution of store concepts within the Skincare/Fragrance Category across various regions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape retail spaces while collaborating with diverse teams.
Responsibilities
- Support store planning and design in alignment with established guidelines. Coordinate with external vendors regarding store construction specifics. Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to integrate design concepts effectively. Oversee the interpretation of designs and manage the construction process, including review of shop drawings. Educate and train current and new shop fitters on updated techniques and design directions. Develop and maintain a Punch List of deficiencies for each installation to ensure adherence to design specifications and address any construction issues. Organize comprehensive records for all store designs for future reference. Work with the team's assistant to manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of store designs. Guide and mentor junior designers and interns as needed.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognized institution. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Interior or Architectural design, with at least 3 years in retail store design considered. Strong proficiency in developing scaled working construction drawings. Experience with CAD programs, Photoshop, and 3D rendering software. Comprehensive understanding of retail store design principles, including lighting, furniture design, space planning, and fixture detailing, with an emphasis on consistency.
