Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Staff System Validation Engineer to support the development of high-speed storage accelerator solutions. In this role, you will contribute across the full product lifecycle, working on evaluation platforms and system reference designs to ensure robust and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-silicon verification and post-silicon system validation
- Define SoC test strategies, including test case development, planning, and execution
- Drive system and electrical validation, with a focus on high-speed interfaces and customer enablement
- Coordinate the development of test programs and automation scripts
- Debug complex system-level issues and lead HW/SW/FW co-verification activities
- Own and manage Functional Circuit Test (FCT) and In-Circuit Test (ICT) processes
- Lead RMA analysis and collaborate with customers and manufacturing teams to resolve board-level issues
- Guide SoC characterization and failure analysis efforts
- Mentor and support junior engineering team members
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in system validation within complex SoC environments
- Familiarity with system board design, debugging, and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Good understanding of high-speed interface system/electrical validation
- Proven ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges using structured methodologies
- Knowledge of one or more of the following: Microcontrollers, DSP, SoC, hardware bring-up, emulation, FPGA platforms
- Experience with C/C++ programming and test automation scripting
- Highly proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player
Desired Skills
- Experience in storage or networking domains
- Understanding of data compression and cryptographic algorithms
- Familiarity with PCIe Gen4/Gen5, CXL, and IO virtualization technologies
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in embedded SoC system development, with a strong focus on system and electrical validation
