We are looking for a Data Engineer to manage AI projects & design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms that support analytics, reporting and data driven decision making. This role works closely with data scientists, analysts and stakeholders to ensure reliable, high quality and accessible data across the organization.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Lead and manage AI projects from ideation to implementation that contribute to productivity and efficiency gain in manufacturing.
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures to support AI and machine learning workloads.
- Develop and implement data engineering solutions to support AI and machine learning model development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with data scientists, domain experts, and stakeholders to identify and prioritize data engineering needs and opportunities.
- Design, build, and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions to support AI workloads, with a focus on data quality and governance.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and AI, and lead the development of best practices, standards, and processes to continuously improve data engineering capabilities.
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Min. 3 - 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building scalable and efficient data pipelines and architectures.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, SQL, or R.
- Experience with big data technologies, data lakes, cloud-based data platforms, Hadoop, MCP, and ML Ops.
- Engineering know-how and expertise in domains such as product or equipment are advantage.
- Knowledge of data science, statistics, and advanced data analytic techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in design thinking being an advantage.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
