Responsibilities:
- Setup of batch job configurations in Automic from the batch catalogue provided for new batch jobs and/or changes to existing batch jobs
- Schedule of batch jobs and support for Automic for service requests and/or during project phases for the testing such as System Integration Testing (SIT), Performance Test (PT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT), Full Dress Rehearsals (FDR) and Actual Cutover (ACO)Support
- Quality Control for batch jobs created changed in project to meet the existing system guideline and standard
- Administer systems/platforms connectivity via Automic e.g. CallApi, Managed File transfer, SharePoint, File Sharing Network, Webservice calls etc
- Install Automic (any) agents
- Participate in configuration, migration and testing of batch jobs for all applications on v11 and/or V12 platform
- Support for configuration of Managed File Transfer system (SFX) for new external/internal file transfer connection points - using IBM Sterling Commerce software
- Configuration file pattern for interface to new/existing connection points and perform end-toend connectivity testing
- Orchestrate various SFX UAT environments connection to Automic UAT environments to support project needs
- Deployment of SFX and Automic changes
- Any other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in batch job scheduling and automation using Automic (UC4) and related tools
- Proficient in Automic job scheduling (v11/v12), batch job configuration, Managed File Transfer (IBM Sterling Commerce), system connectivity (API calls, SharePoint, file sharing, web services), agent installation, and deployment processes experience with batch job testing phases (SIT, UAT, FDR, ACO)
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and support project phases
- Automic (UC4) certification or related job scheduling/tool certifications preferred
