What You'll Be Building
- Design and develop high-performance backend services powering large-scale customer-facing products
- Build AI-native applications by integrating LLMs, intelligent workflows, MCP, RAG, or agent-based capabilities into production systems
- Own backend architecture across microservices, APIs, distributed systems, caching, messaging, and cloud infrastructure
- Drive engineering excellence around scalability, observability, performance, reliability, and developer productivity
- Collaborate closely with product, data, AI, and infrastructure engineers to deliver impactful features
- Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions, and mentoring (Senior / Staff / Principal scope depending on experience)
We're Looking For
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with Java, Golang, Javascript or Python
- Experience building production backend systems at scale
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, databases, caching, messaging, APIs, and cloud platforms
- Experience with AI applications, LLM integrations, AI agents, MCP, RAG, workflow orchestration, or intelligent automation is highly valued
- Comfortable owning systems end-to-end, from design through production operations
- Strong communication skills and product mindset

- Experience in Search, Recommendation, Personalisation, Ranking, Payments, Marketplace, E-commerce, or Platform Engineering
