The Role:
- Lead and assist patients in understanding Health Screening procedures and other clinical services, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and at ease throughout their visit.
- Assist the doctor during consultations and examinations, including support with paediatric assessments such as measuring a baby's height, weight, and head circumference.
- Perform patient care duties including ECG, blood collection, vital signs measurement, clinical measurements (height, weight visual acuity & hearing test), basic wound dressings, and administering vaccinations - all in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Maintain high standards of infection control, patient safety, and customer service at all times.
- Welcome patients upon arrival with a friendly attitude be attentive and provide immediate assistance to patients and their relatives.
- Explain waiting times based on the doctor's schedule and the types of procedures the patient is scheduled for on the day.
- Reassure patients and their relatives to help reduce any anxiety expressed verbally or through behaviour.
- Respond to relevant patient queries appropriately, and escalate to a senior staff member when necessary.
- Perform blood drawing, vital signs measurement, and other relevant tests based on the patient's type of visit.
- Provide general patient care support in accordance with clinic protocols.
- Offer administrative support, including documentation, patient registration, and appointment coordination.
- Assist in tracking and managing blood and radiology reports, including attaching and uploading results into the designated system.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
- Possess Communication & Interpersonal Skill
- Strong team player and can work with minimal supervision
- Customer orientated
- Computer proficient
- Ability to speak Japanese is a plus to effectively communicate with Japanese-speaking clients.
- 5-day work week, Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, Sat 8.30am-12.30pm
