Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized and safe nursing care services, ensuring all practices meet established standards. Uphold high standards in documentation, treatment, patient monitoring, and infection control. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and caregivers to build strong relationships. Coordinate patient care in collaboration with advising physicians, providing direct care and evaluation of patient conditions. Participate in Multidisciplinary Team meetings to enhance the delivery of services. Ensure compliance with organizational and legal standards regarding drug and medical supply management. Report any incidents to the Nurse Manager / Nurse Clinician to maintain patient safety. Maintain accurate documentation and collation of patient data, including referrals and attendances. Monitor and evaluate patient conditions to implement effective care plans and support families during advanced illness. Administer medications and conduct wound dressing as required. Ensure continuity of care and observe proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and consumables. Uphold confidentiality and discretion in all patient care matters. Foster a safe and conducive patient care environment. Mentor junior staff to promote performance excellence and career growth. Adhere to the Singapore Nursing Board's Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. Stay informed on updated industry guidelines and develop necessary skills. Maintain high standards of workplace organization and hygiene. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the work area. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution and registered with the Nursing Board. Preferably possesses post-registration experience in a hospital or hospice setting. Familiarity with IT systems is advantageous. Demonstrated passion for providing exceptional patient service. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to work effectively within a team and perform under pressure.
