Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and individualized nursing care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee and mentor new and junior staff to enhance the knowledge and effectiveness of the nursing team. Manage complex patient care through comprehensive assessments, implementing care plans, and coordinating with healthcare providers. Build and maintain rapport with patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring effective communication throughout the care process. Assess the home care requirements and facilitate the provision of necessary equipment and resources. Perform essential nursing tasks, including medication administration and wound care, while ensuring comprehensive documentation. Participate in Multidisciplinary Team meetings and collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery. Keep abreast of the Singapore Nursing Board's Standards of Practice and uphold high ethical standards in all interactions. Maintain safety protocols and efficient use of medical supplies and equipment while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Diploma in Nursing from a recognized local Polytechnic registration with the relevant nursing authority is mandatory. Preferably possess post-registration experience in a hospital or hospice environment. Familiarity with IT systems and a commitment to continuous professional development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective time management abilities and capacity to thrive under pressure as a collaborative team member.
