Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals during dermatology consultations and aesthetic procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment prior to procedures. Provide pre- and post-procedure patient education and wound care. Administer medications, injections, and prescribed treatments as required. Perform dermatology treatments, including chemical peels and phototherapy. Monitor patients safety and comfort during and after procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Ensure adherence to infection control, sterilization, and clinic safety protocols. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing inventory as needed.
Requirements
- Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution, registered with the local Nursing Board. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a related healthcare position. Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification. Previous experience in a dermatology setting is advantageous. Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, including patient interaction and procedure administration. Proficient in using clinic management systems and handling IT-related tasks.
