As a manufacturing engineer in Operation Engineering organization. This position will manage BB production build process and spearhead continuous improvement of BB production yield and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Monitor manufacturing line performance daily, address technical issues promptly, and ensure consistent product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, NPI, Engineering) to resolve systemic issues impacting yield, cycle time, and quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process stability and reduce recurring failures.
System-Level Engineering
- Validate and troubleshoot complex motion control systems (servo, stepper motor-based). Analyze signal flow and feedback loops to identify cause of the issue.
Failure Analysis & Sustaining
- Lead root cause investigations for high-impact electrical failures using manufacturing data.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on PCB assemblies and drive corrective actions in collaboration with NPI and internal teams.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare detailed reports on test results, failure analysis, and propose design and process improvements to relevant teams.
Qualifications:
- Degree / Master in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics) or equivalent.
- Typically 5-8 years of working experience with Electrical & Electronic System.
- Ability to work with manufacturing processes and understand DFM/DFT principles.
- Experience in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys).
- Ability to propose and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) for verification at machine, system, and PCBA levels.
- Strong analog and digital circuitry analysis and measurement skills, using common tools (e.g. Multimeter, LCR meter, Hi-pot tester, Oscilloscope).
- Awareness of industry standards (IPC, IEC, UL) for electrical and PCB compliance.
- Competence in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation.
- Basic understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to document test results and provide clear analysis reports.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a positive attitude and an open mindset to embrace a team-oriented working environment
