Our client is a leading global digital asset exchange and financial technology platform with a major engineering hub in Singapore. The company builds secure, scalable and high-performance products for a global user base across trading, digital assets, payments, Web3 and financial technology.
We are hiring Senior / Staff Mobile Engineers to support multiple product and platform teams in Singapore. This is a broad mobile engineering search covering mobile product engineering, fintech/trading flows, KYC/onboarding, Web3/wallet products, account security, and mobile platform/infrastructure.
The ideal candidate is a strong mobile or platform engineer who can own complex technical areas independently, understand business/product logic, and use AI-assisted engineering tools as part of their development workflow.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and scale high-quality mobile applications across iOS, Android, React Native or cross-platform technologies
- Own complex mobile features, modules or platform systems from design through production release
- Work on product areas such as trading, payments, onboarding, KYC, compliance, wallet, Web3, account security or mobile platform infrastructure
- Build reusable components, SDKs, internal libraries, frameworks, tooling or architecture patterns
- Improve app performance, reliability, build systems, CI/CD, release automation and developer productivity
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA, Security, Compliance and Infrastructure teams
- Translate business/product requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools to support coding, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation and architecture review
- Contribute to engineering best practices, technical direction and code quality across teams
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in mobile engineering, mobile platform engineering or full-stack product engineering
- Experience with one or more of: React Native, iOS, Android, Swift, Kotlin, Java, Objective-C, React.js, mobile architecture or mobile CI/CD
- Able to own complex technical features, modules or systems independently
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture, API integration, performance optimisation, testing and release processes
- Good product/business sense, with the ability to understand why user flows and technical decisions are designed a certain way
- Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or similar
- AI usage should go beyond basic Q&A, and may include code generation, debugging, refactoring, test generation, architecture review or workflow automation
- Strong English communication skills
- Comfortable working onsite in Singapore
Good to have
- Experience in fintech, banking, trading, payments, crypto, Web3, wallet, eKYC, compliance, security or high-scale consumer applications
- Experience with onboarding, account, transaction, order flow, market data, wallet or security-sensitive user journeys
- Experience with mobile platform tooling, CI/CD, release automation, internal frameworks, SDKs or developer productivity
- Experience in big tech, superapp, exchange, fintech, banking or high-growth product environments
- Experience mentoring engineers or driving technical standards
