Role Overview

Work directly with enterprise clients to modernize legacy systems and accelerate the adoption of modern architectures through AI/ML-powered tooling. Leverage MongoDB and Generative AI technologies to deliver innovative, scalable solutions, while shaping MongoDB's future product roadmap through field insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to modernize applications and optimize data workflows using MongoDB's ecosystem
• Design and prototype AI/ML-powered solutions using Generative AI tools to solve real-world business challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and services to scale resilient solutions and streamline application modernization
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and contribute technical feedback to influence MongoDB's platform evolution
• Transform legacy monolithic applications into microservices-based architectures while addressing data migration and performance optimization challenges

Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, delivering robust enterprise-grade solutions
• Proficient in Java, Python, SQL, and familiar with application architecture paradigms (monolithic vs microservices)
• Deep understanding of AI/ML tools, open-source frameworks, and model deployment techniques
• Strong experience with test-driven development and scalable, fault-tolerant system design
• Proven ability to solve novel, ambiguous technical problems with a hands-on approach
• Experience working with or researching parsing, programming languages, or machine learning algorithms is a plus

Preferred Background

• Academic research or applied experience in AI/ML, natural language processing, or compiler theory
• Passionate about working with large-scale data and influencing enterprise digital transformation strategies through software innovation
