Senior Staff Equipment Engineer

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for driving and improving equipment uptime performance, implementing maintenance cost, quality, and yield improvement projects, and developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maintain equipment stability. You will also be responsible for equipment spare part management, imparting equipment knowledge and skills to our shop floor maintenance team, and troubleshooting and resolving major breakdown equipment.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Drive and improve equipment uptime performance to achieve target equipment efficiency
• Implement maintenance cost, quality, and yield improvement projects
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maintain equipment stability
• Manage equipment spare parts and ensure timely replacement
• Impart equipment knowledge and skills to our shop floor maintenance team
• Troubleshoot and resolve major breakdown equipment
• Analyze jam statistics and implement improvements to reduce downtime

Your profile

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Final Test equipment in the semiconductor industry
• Experience in Tri temp IC Test Handler, such as Delta Matrix or Advantest M48xx series, is preferred
• Strong knowledge in applying problem-solving and analysis tools, such as 8D , 5 Whys, QC tool
• Technically sound with a strong desire to build up technical competency
• Ability to lead and recommend design changes to improve equipment performance
• Passionate about problem solving and able to drive multiple team members on PSDM (Problem Solving and Decision Making)
• Strong project management skills and a proactive communicator who can provide timely updates to various stakeholders
