Senior Staff Engineer, Analog IC Design

The Optical PHY team designs high-speed and optical transceivers for communication infrastructure in long-haul, metro and datacenter. We address the bandwidth, capacity and power issues faced by cloud computing, mega data centers that powers the social media giant platforms.

As an Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer, you will be an integral member of a team developing advanced CMOS transceiver and SERDES products.

Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and verifying circuits such as PLLs, DLLs, ADCs, DACs, regulators, amplifiers, TX/RX blocks, and CDRs to meet critical performance targets. You will also perform design verification using industry-standard tools, including Spectre, MATLAB, and others

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven hands-on experience designing mixed-signal circuits, including ADCs, DACs, RX/TX blocks, PLLs, DLLs, filters, bandgap bias circuits, regulators, and other analog circuits.
• Deep and/or broad expertise in analog and mixed-signal IC design.
• Strong ability to apply innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
• Track record of developing and implementing best practices that deliver high-quality, efficient solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
• Experience with low-power and high-speed design techniques.
• Proficiency with IC design and CAD tools such as Spectre, SPICE, MATLAB, Verilog, and others.
• Laboratory testing skills to validate prototypes against design specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
