About the Company
My client is a leading player internationally in the semiconductor space, with a strong presence in connectivity. They are now looking for an experienced software engineer to join their technically excellent team.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for firmware and linux kernel/ driver development for connectivity products such as Home Router and Gateway
- You will participate in pre-silicon emulation and co-verification processes.
- You will be a part of the conceptual mapping for key customer support and software design.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development, ideally with microprocessors
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Knowledge of version control tools such as perforce/Git/Mercurial
- Knowledge of PON, Docsis, ETHERNET switch, Security Engine, wireless LAN and microprocessor a plus
- Experience with ARM based embedded system software a plus
