We are seeking an experienced Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer for our client to support the design and development of MEMS interface ASIC solutions for advanced semiconductor applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop mixed-signal integrated circuits for capacitive and/or piezoelectric MEMS interface applications, including amplifiers, ADCs, filters, biasing circuits, and associated control logic.
- Develop circuit solutions focused on high input impedance, low-noise performance, low-power consumption, and overall signal integrity requirements.
- Perform circuit design, simulation, verification, and layout activities for analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support both pre-silicon and post-silicon verification activities to ensure design functionality, reliability, and performance targets are achieved.
- Participate in technical design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including application, product, and test engineering teams.
- Work closely with product development and manufacturing support teams to facilitate product qualification and transition into production.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation in accordance with internal engineering and quality standards.
- Support troubleshooting, validation, characterization, and debugging activities during development and production phases.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering, safety, and quality procedures.
Job Requirements
- Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design.
- Strong understanding of CMOS process technologies and analog/mixed-signal design fundamentals.
- Proficiency in analog and mixed-signal IC design EDA tools and simulation environments.
- Experience designing analog and mixed-signal circuits such as regulators, DC-DC converters, low-noise amplifiers, low-power biasing circuits, sigma-delta modulators, ADCs, or related functional blocks.
- Experience in low-power and/or high-resolution sigma-delta modulation and ADC design will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing, validation, and characterization of IC prototypes.
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and related engineering environments.
- Exposure to MEMS interface ASIC design would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
