We are seeking an experienced Middle Office Senior Specialist to support daily BAU activities across the derivatives trade lifecycle. The role requires strong operational knowledge of derivatives products, effective oversight of daily processing activities, and the ability to manage client queries, onboarding support, service delivery, and escalations. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure timely and accurate execution, maintain a strong control environment, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support daily middle office activities across the derivatives trade lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Coordinate day-to-day support team activities, including prioritization, review, and follow-up on outstanding items.
  • Act as the first point of contact for operational escalations, resolving moderately complex issues and coordinating with relevant teams where further escalation is required.
  • Monitor service delivery against agreed SLAs and escalate exceptions where necessary.
  • Manage client queries and provide high-quality service support within agreed timelines.
  • Provide product knowledge and technical guidance on moderately complex derivatives processing and lifecycle events.
  • Support onboarding activities for new clients, products, or processes, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Partner with operations, onboarding, technology, and client-facing teams to support smooth execution of daily activities.
  • Contribute to process reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, control, and client experience.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in Derivatives Middle Office, Trade Support, or Operations.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle activities and middle office operational processes.
  • Good knowledge of derivatives products and associated post-trade workflows.
  • Experience coordinating daily operational activities within a team environment.
  • Strong experience in query management, issue resolution, exception handling, and escalation management.
  • Experience supporting client onboarding and ensuring smooth operational readiness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues and drive timely resolution.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with both internal teams and clients.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on risk, control, and process discipline.
  • Exposure to digital tools, workflow solutions, or process automation.
