Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts and year-end closing.
  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with IFRS/SFRS.
  • Provide reliable financial reporting for management, auditors, and regulators.

Finance Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end finance operations (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, vendor payments).
  • Review and approve POs and payments in accordance with authority limits and policies.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury-related activities.

Tax & Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate GST and withholding tax filings.
  • Coordinate statutory audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and finance SOPs supporting GMP compliance.

Systems & Process Enhancement

  • Support SAP finance enhancements, master data integrity, and reporting improvements.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, andcontrol.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise and develop finance team members across AP, AR, inventory, and fixed assets.
  • Promote accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement within theteam.

Ad-Hoc & Strategic Projects

  • Support system rollouts, incentive applications, contract reviews, and other strategic assignments.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance CA/CPA/ACCA/Chartered Accountant preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in manufacturing (pharma/life sciences strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on expertise in month-end closing, preparation of management accounts, GST filing, and withholding tax compliance.
  • Strong experience in audit/tax compliance, working capital, and supplier payment approval processes.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP with proven involvement in system implementation, enhancements and optimization initiatives.
  • High integrity, analytical mindset, and ability to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally andpresent to senior stakeholders.
