Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Analyst – IT with a strong background in Business Analysis and/or Systems Analysis to support end-to-end IT product and solution delivery.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, technology teams, developers, testers, and other delivery functions to understand business needs, define requirements, support testing, and ensure successful implementation of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business and technology stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and system requirements.
- Conduct detailed requirements gathering, analysis, validation, and documentation.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and system requirements for technology teams.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, use cases, and other project documentation.
- Facilitate requirement workshops and discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with Product Owners, developers, architects, QA teams, and business users throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support backlog refinement, requirement prioritization, and acceptance-criteria definition.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios, defect tracking, issue resolution, and business sign-off.
- Perform impact and gap analysis for proposed system or process changes.
- Manage requirement changes, dependencies, risks, and issues throughout delivery.
- Ensure appropriate traceability between business requirements, technical implementation, testing, and final delivery.
- Support implementation, go-live, and post-production activities as required.
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, IT Analyst, or similar role.
- Proven experience in end-to-end IT product, application, or system delivery.
- Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
- Hands-on experience supporting or managing UAT activities.
- Ability to create user stories, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience working closely with business and technical teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into clear technology requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or large enterprise IT environments.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar requirements/project-management tools.
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and digital platforms.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum product teams.
