Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing & VA/VE: Lead contract drafting and pricing negotiations for cost-reduction projects, driving Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives alongside R&D and engineering teams.
  • Supply Chain Continuity: Manage component End-of-Life (EOL), Last Time Buys, and capacity reviews to mitigate risks and prevent factory downtime.
  • Productivity & Change Tracking: Monitor and track Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Supplier Change Notices (SCNs) following design and cost-reduction adjustments.
  • Supplier Performance: Partner with Supplier Quality Engineers to resolve defects and recover the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) through regular business reviews.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years within strategic sourcing, procurement, or product/component engineering, featuring specialized knowledge in electronic components and PCBA manufacturing.
  • Systems & Travel: Proficient in enterprise ERP systems like SAP, with a regional travel requirement of 5% to 10%.
  • Eligibility: Open strictly to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
