Senior Solutions Engineer - Data Centre Infrastructure

Our client is a provider in the data centre and mission-critical infrastructure space, supporting high-performance facilities across the region. They are seeking a Senior Solution Engineer / Solution Engineer to be based in Singapore, focusing on developing and delivering engineering solutions that meet client requirements for reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Role
This position partners closely with commercial teams and clients to translate technical requirements into practical design solutions. You will contribute to pre-sales activities by preparing proposals, reviewing RFPs, and presenting engineering concepts, while also leading discussions and technical workshops with stakeholders. The role involves guiding design development across project stages, conducting technical reviews, and ensuring alignment with performance and cost considerations. You will also oversee coordination between internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth progression from concept through to implementation.

Requirements
You hold a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with around 8 years of relevant experience in building services or mission-critical environments such as data centres. You bring hands-on experience in designing electrical or mechanical systems, including exposure to high-availability architectures and large-scale projects. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and power system software will be advantageous. A structured problem-solving approach and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting are important for success in this role.
