We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solutions Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience specializing in VoIP and unified communications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing cutting-edge communication solutions for our enterprise clients. You will work closely with our sales and product teams to deliver tailored solutions, conduct technical demonstrations, and provide post-deployment support, ensuring seamless integration and outstanding performance across diverse network environments, including global call routing and carrier interoperability.
Key Responsibilities:
. Solution Design & Architecture:
o Lead the design and implementation of robust VoIP and unified communications solutions that meet client requirements.
o Develop scalable architectures integrating various technologies such as SIP, RTP, H.323, and WebRTC.
o Design and implement call routing solutions covering A-Z countries, ensuring reliable connectivity and compliance with local regulations.
. Technical Expertise & Support:
o Serve as the subject matter expert on VoIP systems, including enterprise platforms and protocols.
o Configure and troubleshoot systems including Asterisk, VoIPswitch, AudioCodes and Kamailio.
o Configure and troubleshoot IP-PHONES, Softphones, PRI/GSM/SIP gateways
o Implement automation strategies to streamline communication solutions deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
o Provide interoperability efforts with global telcos and carriers to ensure seamless interconnection and call quality.
. Pre-Sales & Client Engagement:
o Collaborate with the sales team to assess client needs and prepare detailed technical proposals and proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations.
o Deliver engaging presentations and technical workshops to prospective clients.
. Project Leadership & Collaboration:
o Oversee multiple UC projects from conception to completion, ensuring that solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
o Work cross-functionally with product development and engineering teams to refine and enhance our solution offerings.
. Mentorship & Documentation:
o Mentor junior engineers and solution architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
o Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, best practices, and guidelines for deployed solutions.
. Innovation & Industry Trends:
o Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in VoIP and unified communications technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
. Experience:
o A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting VoIP and unified communications solutions in an enterprise environment.
. Technical Expertise:
o Proficient in VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, H.323, WebRTC) and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, QoS, VLAN, VPN).
o Extensive experience with enterprise-grade communication platforms (e.g., Cisco CUCM, Microsoft Teams, Avaya, Zoom) and hands-on exposure to Asterisk-based systems.
o Demonstrated ability in system automation to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
o In-depth knowledge of VoIPswitch, AudioCodes solutions, Sangoma PBX & SBC, Yeastar PBXs & gateways and Kamailio SIP Proxy & server configurations.
o Experience in different Servers such as Windows servers, Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc)
o Proven experience in designing call routing strategies for global operations (covering A-Z countries) and executing interoperability projects with international telcos and carriers.
. Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
. Certifications (Preferred):
o Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Cisco Voice, Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer, or similar.
. Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
o Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
o Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
