Senior Solution Architect (Perm/ Contract)

[What the role is]

As a Senior Infrastructure Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions that span hybrid environments-both cloud-based and on-premises. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, security, operations, and business stakeholders to define architecture strategies that support enterprise-level applications and services.

[What you will be working on]

• Leading end-to-end infrastructure solution design for complex systems across multi-cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise environments

• Developing high-level and low-level architecture designs, diagrams, and documentation that align with organizational and technical requirements

• Providing architectural governance throughout the solution lifecycle to ensure scalability, performance, compliance, and security standards are met

• Collaborating with cloud engineering and DevOps teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation best practices using ansible, terraform

• Create architectural proof of concepts for infrastructure of simple to medium complexity, incorporating key technologies such as cloud computing, DevOps, and microservices

• Leading infrastructure modernization initiatives, including cloud migrations, data center transformations, and hybrid cloud integrations

• Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and customers, providing thought leadership on infrastructure innovation and industry best practices

[What we are looking for]

We're looking for an experienced and strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in infrastructure architecture, particularly in complex and hybrid environments. You should bring a balance of hands-on experience and high-level design capabilities, with the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.

• At least 10+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead architect role

• Proven experience designing and implementing hybrid infrastructure solutions across public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises platforms

• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security, compute, storage, and disaster recovery strategies

• Hands-on experience with cloud architecture patterns, automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.), and CI/CD processes

• Knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks (e.g. NIST)

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at all levels

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF are a strong plus

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, Perl) for automation is good to have

• Must be organized, independent, flexible to work on different projects in a rapidly changing environment

• Team player with the ability to work fast and meet short-term deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels with demonstrated ability to influence different stakeholders
