This senior role requires an experienced engineer with a proven track record of independently leading solar PV projects and driving high-value business growth. The ideal candidate will blend advanced technical design with sharp commercial acumen to structure complex proposals, secure B2B clients and spearhead project execution from end to end.
Job Responsibilities
Project Engineering & Execution Leadership
- Project Delivery : Oversee project planning, scheduling and critical milestones to guarantee timely delivery
- Stakeholder Management : Act as the primary point of contact for contractors, consultants and clients
- Budget Oversight : Manage project financial health, control costs and approve budget adjustments
- Risk & Quality Assurance : Lead risk assessments, ensure safety compliance
Technical Sales & Account Management
- Business Development : Proactively identify and close commercial, industrial solar opportunities
- Advanced Proposals : Create high-level technical proposals, detailed costings and energy yield simulations
- Financial Pitching : Deliver presentations on system ROI, NPV, payback periods and LCOE to executives
- Deal Closure : Negotiate commercial contract terms, pricing strategies and final service level agreements
Job Requirements
Technical & Academic Qualifications
- Education : Degree / Diploma in Solar, Renewable, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience : Minimum 4 - 7 years of proven experience in solar PV installation and technical sales
- Software Mastery : Highly proficient in PVSyst, AutoCAD, MS Project, PowerPoint and MS Office
- Grid Knowledge : Deep technical understanding of solar system design, grid interconnection, and local regulations
Commercial & Leadership Skills
- Financial Fluency : Ability to build and present complex financial and energy payback models
- Sales Track Record : Demonstrate success in B2B technical sales, account acquisition or client retention
- Mentorship : Ability to guide junior engineers and coordinate multiple vendor teams effectively
