Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and validation procedures for semiconductor software applications.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to validate hardware control software, APIs, and data processing pipelines.
Perform system-level integration testing to verify communication between software applications and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Validate image processing and machine learning algorithms used for wafer defect detection, classification, and analysis.
Conduct functional, regression, stress, and performance testing to ensure software stability and reliability.
Investigate software defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to improve software development efficiency and release quality.
Prepare test reports, document validation results, and drive continuous improvements in software testing processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Software Testing, Software QA, Software Validation, or SDET, preferably in the semiconductor or industrial automation industry.
Proficient in Python, C++, or C#, with hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and tools such as PyTest, Selenium, Jenkins, and Git.
Good understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation, defect management, CI/CD, Linux, SQL, and large-scale data handling.
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, wafer inspection, metrology, SECS/GEM protocols, or hardware-software integration is an advantage.
Familiarity with computer vision or image processing technologies (e.g., OpenCV) and hardware simulation environments is a plus.
ISTQB certification or equivalent testing certification is preferred.
