Senior Software Programmer (AI-Enabled Engineering Systems)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Programmer to develop a next-generation AI-enabled engineering system. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can lead development, work independently, and deliver cloud-native AI applications.

You will build the core application, orchestrate AI workflows, and integrate intelligent agents with enterprise systems on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the core application and AI workflow orchestration
• Design, implement, and integrate multiple AI agents for document processing and reasoning workflows
• Build, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs
• Deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Collaborate closely with researchers and domain engineers to productionize AI solutions
• Containerize applications and manage deployments using Kubernetes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proven experience deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure
• Solid backend engineering expertise, including API integration and microservices architecture
• Experience developing AI-enabled applications or agent-based AI systems
• Ability to work independently and lead technical development efforts

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Flutter for frontend development
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or similar LLM platforms
• Exposure to AI-assisted development environments (e.g., Claude Code or similar tools)

Job Type: Contract - 9 -12 Months (Extendable)
Salary Range: S$7,000 - S$10,000
