Senior Software Engineer

We're partnering with a fast-growing, Fintech startup to hire experienced Backend Engineers to build and scale mission-critical financial systems.

As a Backend Engineer, you'll design and build highly available, scalable backend services that power payment products. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver customer-facing features while influencing architecture and technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services and distributed systems
• Develop reliable, secure and high-performance systems for financial products
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features
• Take ownership of system design, architecture and technical decisions
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, system improvements and operational best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems
• Product-minded engineer with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
• Experience building high-availability, high-performance backend services
• Experience in fast-growing startups or product technology companies is a plus
• Payment, FinTech, Wallet, Transaction, Settlement, Risk or Trading domain experience is a plus
• Open to all coding language background
