Senior Software Engineer (R&D / C# / .NET / Linux Dev/ Medical Devices Mfg.)

Responsibilities:

• Responsiblefor developing microscope, camera drivers and software modules in company software applications.
• Involve in software system architecture design.
• Responsible for product development and transfers from HQ R&D centers in Switzerland & Germany.
• Responsible for product development / design documentation.
• Support functional model, and prototype build and testing.
• Develop features to support microscope/imaging system fabrication.
• Support Cross-functional teams for problem investigation and work out solutions.
• Involve in defining technology roadmap for future references.
• Involve in new technologies development. Especially in driver/SW applications.
  

• Masters or bachelor's degree in software engineering, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Programming skills in C# & .NET architecture.
• 3 years of relevant experience in object-oriented analysis and design programming on Microsoft Windows platform using C, C++ & Visual Studio.
• Experience in designing & development of Windows multi-threaded applications that interact with Serial/Ethernet/USB drivers.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies preferably Scrum or other agile methodologies, and software test methodologies.
• Experience with image or real-time video processing on PC platforms using tools such as DirectX,CUDA, OpenCL, etc.
• Linux platform development.
• Familiar with design for manufacturing.
