Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using PHP (Laravel) and modern frontend technologies.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
- Design and Optimize SQL queries, databases, and application performance.
- Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.
- Apply software engineering best practices to build secure and reliable applications.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
- Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of enterprise PHP application development experience, with strong expertise in Laravel. Experience with CodeIgniter will be an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), MVC architecture, SQL, relational databases, data modelling, and RESTful API development.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive web development, and modern frontend frameworks. Experience with React or Vue.js will be an advantage.
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development practices.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Apache/Nginx, AWS or other cloud platforms will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Redis, WebSocket, caching, message queues, application performance optimization, and OWASP secure coding practices is preferred.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor). Experience integrating AI services or LLM APIs into enterprise applications will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working within Singapore's business or regulatory environment will be an advantage.

- Working Location: Toa Payoh (HDB Hub near Toa Payoh MRT Station)
- 5-day work week, Mondays to Fridays: 9.00am to 6.00pm
