Senior Software Engineer (NPOS & Digital Signage Specialist)

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead with over 5 years of experience to lead the development and management of our core systems, including NPOS (New Point of Sale), Neon systems, and Digital Signage CMS.

The ideal candidate must be a hands-on developer capable of handling full-stack tasks while also performing Project Management (PM) duties to drive project delivery from conception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications and backend systems for NPOS and Digital Signage Content Management Systems (CMS).

• Project Management: Lead the technical project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, timeline estimation, resource planning, and stakeholder communication.

• Real-time Architecture: Implement real-time communication features using Socket.io to ensure seamless synchronization between devices and servers.

• Infrastructure & Database: Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and optimize MySQL databases for high performance and scalability.

• Data Analysis: Handle and process Big Data logs to generate actionable insights and reporting for POS and Signage operations.

• Legacy & Modern Stack: Maintain and upgrade existing systems built with PHP and jQuery while integrating modern technologies.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the NPOS and Signage networks.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development and technical project management.

• Core Tech Stack:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP and jQuery is a must.

  • Expertise in Socket.io for real-time applications.

  • Solid experience with MySQL database design and query optimization.

• Cloud & Data:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.).

  • Experience in handling Big Data processing and analytics.

• Domain Knowledge: Proven track record in developing or managing NPOS (Point of Sale) systems, Neon, and Digital Signage CMS.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage projects independently.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
