Our engineering team is intentionally lean, with approximately 5-6 engineers supporting a platform used by thousands of businesses worldwide. This means every developer has meaningful ownership, direct influence on technical decisions, and the opportunity to solve problems that would typically be handled by much larger teams.

You'll work closely with the founders and engineering team to shape both technical architecture and the future direction of the product.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who enjoys solving difficult engineering problems, building scalable systems, and taking ownership of technical solutions.

We care more about problem-solving ability, engineering excellence, and ownership than experience with any specific technology stack.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance SaaS applications using ASP.NET Core and C#.

• Design and build new capabilities used by thousands of businesses across multiple international marketplaces.

• Solve challenging scalability, reliability, and performance problems.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify root causes.

• Improve system architecture, maintainability, and engineering quality.

• Refactor legacy components and reduce technical debt.

• Review code and contribute to engineering best practices.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to deliver customer value.

• Explore and adopt new technologies where they provide meaningful business impact.

• Leverage modern AI development tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity and software quality.

What We're Looking For

Core Requirements:

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, whether gained through formal education or practical experience.

• Strong experience building applications using ASP.NET Core and C#.

• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles.

• Experience building and consuming Web APIs.

• Solid understanding of asynchronous and concurrent programming.

• Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical initiatives.

• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows

Bonus Points:

• Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks.

• Experience working with SaaS products.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with background services, distributed processing, or large-scale systems.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

• Experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, ChatGPT, or similar tools.

• Interest in AI, LLMs, AI agents, automation, and emerging software development workflows, with enthusiasm for leveraging AI to improve developer productivity and build smarter software products.
