Senior Software Engineer

JD:

• Understand business requirements and develop mapping specs.
• Design and develop reusable integration components and participate in design sessions with architects and developers.
• Strong API knowledge with different authentication types. Should be able to connect with multiple SaaS applications.
• Have good knowledge on multiple connectors like IFS,HTTPS, SFTP, Application connector etc.
• Develop integration interfaces using Boomi with end-to-end error handling.
• Implement logging, exception handling in addition to functional business requirements.
• Follow approved configuration management, coding standards, and version control policies.
• Investigate defects, present solutions with accurate estimates of work effort and implement the solution on time and on budget.
• Conduct impact analysis to existing applications / in-flight projects due to architecture changes.
• Independently debug and troubleshoot errors/exceptions and resolve issues.
• Create technical documentation and architectural proposals for peer review.
• Deploy code in higher environments.
• Learn about other applications integrating with Boomi to collaborate effectively with other teams for system integration testing.
• Create and maintain features/user stories/tasks in Agile board.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as: sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review and sprint retrospective.
• Regularly report user stories/task status to Architect / Project Manager / Customer.

Must have skills:

• 4+ years of experience in system integrations using Boomi.
• Strong hands-on experience in Boomi Connectors such as: Disk, FTP, SFTP, Database, Sales force, Web Services Listener, HTTP Client, SAP, Web Services SOAP Client.
• Strong expertise on mappings with different data formats in Boomi such as: JSON, XML, and CSV, Database.
• Strong expertise in debugging and performance Improvement in Boomi.
• Strong expertise in source control repositories such as: Azure DevOps, Git etc.
• Strong expertise in build, deployment, and release process.
• Prior experience in Agile methodology, preferably Scrum framework.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experienced in customer-faced roles.
