Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with deep expertise in JavaScript, to lead the creation of a comprehensive credential management browser extension. This critical role will involve building a secure, enterprise-grade password manager and proxy server.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a full-featured Chrome Extension (in JavaScript) for credential management
- Design and implement secure RESTful APIs between the Chrome Extension and Java/Tomcat backend
- Design and implement a proxy server to inject the JavaScript into web applications
- Follow OWASP guidelines and secure coding practices
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills (Must have)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience using JavaScript
- In-depth knowledge of web applications
- In-depth knowledge of browser to server communication flow
- In-depth knowledge of browser to server authentication mechanism
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong focus on code quality and security
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Engineering
- Experience developing Chrome Extensions with manifest V3
- Experience with developing Java backend (web applications that runs on Tomcat)
- Experience with password manager architecture and design patterns
- Interest in application of Generative AI / Machine Learning
- Previous work on enterprise IAM solutions
- Knowledge of Web Application security such as OWASP TOP 10
- Knowledge of SAML, OpenID Connect, or other SSO protocols
