Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to drive software development initiatives that support semiconductor manufacturing and office operations. In this role, you will work closely with QA, Engineering, IT, and global stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business needs.

Essential Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with software engineers to deliver projects in line with coding standards, quality expectations, and agreed timelines.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions supporting QA, MES, ERP, manufacturing, and office systems.
• Maintain and enhance QA and manufacturing software to improve production efficiency, system reliability, and operational performance.
• Integrate software solutions with PLC systems, IoT devices, and cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve software-related issues.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement activities to ensure software quality and maintainability.
• Ensure software development practices are aligned with business objectives, cybersecurity requirements, and relevant compliance standards.
• Participate in global collaboration projects with teams in Japan and other countries.

Skills and Competencies Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably within a manufacturing, semiconductor, or enterprise systems environment.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as VB.NET, C++, C#, PHP, Java, Python, or ASP.
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, Azure, and API development.
• Familiarity with MES and ERP, manufacturing systems, or enterprise application environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
