Our client, a leading global quantitative investment firm, is seeking a Senior C++ Developer to support its trading, pricing, and risk technology platforms. This role sits at the heart of a high-performance trading environment, supporting business-critical trading and analytics platforms across the investment lifecycle. This is a highly visible opportunity where you will work closely with traders, quantitative researchers, risk managers, and technology teams to develop and enhance low-latency, high-throughput platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Core Platform Development: Design, develop, and enhance high-performance Linux-based services that support pricing, risk, and trading operations.
- Pricing & Risk Systems: Develop and support quantitative analytics and valuation services used by front-office stakeholders.
- Distributed Systems Engineering: Build scalable, low-latency, and high-throughput distributed systems capable of supporting demanding trading workloads.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with quantitative developers, quantitative researchers, traders, business stakeholders, and operations teams to deliver technology solutions.
- Trading Platform Enhancement: Contribute to the development and support of core trading platform components, including order management, trade processing, position management, and market data services.
- System Optimization: Continuously improve platform performance, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Business Engagement: Work directly with front-office stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that support investment and trading activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in front-office or middle-office technology roles within financial services, investment banking, hedge funds, or capital markets.
- Strong expertise in C++ development (including STL and modern C++), Linux-based systems, and multithreaded or distributed architectures. Experience with Qt, wxWidgets, or MFC is beneficial.
- Solid experience with Linux development environments (GCC toolchain, Red Hat Linux) and Python for automation, tooling, or quantitative applications.
- Good understanding of pricing models, risk systems, and financial products such as Equities, Futures, Options, and Swaps, with knowledge of trading and instrument lifecycles being highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with traders, quantitative researchers, risk managers, and technology teams in a fast-paced trading environment.
