We're Hiring: Senior Software Engineer (Backend) | Node.js & TypeScript

Location: Singapore

Industry: Government Technology / Enterprise Platforms

Contract Duration: 2 Years

Salary: Up to SGD 8,500/month (All-Inclusive Package)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Eligibility: Singapore Citizens Only

Are you passionate about building scalable backend systems, cloud-native solutions, and modern engineering practices We are looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers (Backend) to join a high-impact technology team delivering mission-critical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript

Design and implement scalable APIs, batch jobs, automation scripts, and backend integrations

Build and optimize streaming data solutions and distributed systems

Drive adoption of engineering best practices including:

• CI/CD
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• DevOps Automation
• System Resiliency

Conduct technical assessments and identify opportunities for process and platform improvements

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop transition roadmaps and implementation strategies

Support Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives and early-stage solution validation

Partner with engineering teams to improve development efficiency and operational excellence

Requirements

️ Minimum 7 years of Software Engineering experience

️ Strong hands-on experience with:

• Node.js
• TypeScript

️ Experience with:

• AWS, Azure, or GCP
• REST APIs
• Batch Processing
• Cron Jobs
• Streaming Data Systems

️ Strong understanding of:

• CI/CD
• DevOps
• SRE Practices
• Software Architecture

️ Experience delivering large-scale enterprise implementations

️ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

⭐ Nice to Have:

• Experience in Banking, Government, Defense, or Air-Gapped Environments
