Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and driven Software Engineer to design and build impactful technology solutions that improve public services and benefit society. You will not only write production-grade code but also identify, design, and deliver systems that address real-world problems.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Information System
- Minimum 5 years experience in frontend and / or backend application development in Java / J2EE or Microsoft .NET technologies
- Experience in web application technologies ( React / React Native / Ruby on Rails / Golang / Kotlin / Swift / Node.JS / Typescript )
- Good experience in Cloud / PaaS platforms ( AWS / Heroku / OpenShift )
- Exposure to Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
- Understanding code-deployment workflow and source management tools
- Experience in design, development, test, and implementation of enterprise applications
- Experience with agile methodologies, technology-savvy and appreciates new modern web application technologies stacks
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills
- Self-motivated and able to work in a highly pressured dynamic environment.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience with open-source technologies such as GitHub, React Native, MongoDB, and Stripe.
Responsibilities
- Work within an agile development team to deliver high-quality, digital and emerging type of applications
- Work with UI / UX designers to understand the client pain points, come up with prototype (PoC), test and iterate
- Work with Product Owners and Business Analyst to create users stories by providing technical consultancy
- Involved in brainstorming, conceptualization, system design, development and testing of both web responsive and mobile applications
- Perform coding, implementation, integration, documentation and conduct user acceptance testing
- Work with DevOps team to manage Continuous Integration / Continuous Integration ( CI / CD ) to ensure fast turnaround time and seamless deployments
- Maintenance, support and ensure necessary changes are implemented and documented
- Be proactive in putting up recommendations to achieve better system performance and efficiency.
