Job Title: Senior Software Developer (Enterprise Application Support & Delivery) - 12 Months Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Software Developer with a strong background in enterprise application delivery and production support within regulated environments. The role requires hands-on involvement across the full lifecycle, with a focus on maintaining and enhancing complex business-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance enterprise-level applications in a production environment
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
- Support UAT, deployment, and post-release validation activities
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software development and application support
- Proven experience in enterprise or government/regulated environments
- Hands-on experience with application support, not just development
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum delivery models
- Experience using enterprise tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, or equivalent)
- Strong experience in handling production issues and stakeholder management
