This is an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Senior/Software Design Engineer/Manager. Reporting directly to the leadership, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions for the company's semiconductor automation and control systems. In this full-time position, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the company's continued growth and success.
What you'll be doing
- Design, develop and optimize software applications and systems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and automation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement software architecture, algorithms, and control logic
- Develop and maintain software tools, libraries, and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the company's products
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, and provide technical support to customers and field engineers
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software engineering for the semiconductor industry
What we're looking for
- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Computer Studies or its equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in C++ programming and semiconductor automation/control systems
- Proficient in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
- Hands-on experience in developing embedded software, firmware, and real-time control systems
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation technologies
- Senior Engineers may be considered for a Managerial level
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and innovate
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile, and proficiency in using relevant tools and technologies
